Our
company.

After thirteen years as an independent consultant, Gonçalo Rodrigues founded Swalo in 2024 to offer a different approach to IT consulting — one where experienced specialists are directly involved in the success of the projects they deliver.

The idea was born from an experience observed in 2015 at a Swedish company, where specialists are highly valued and involved in decisions. That model could not be transposed directly to Switzerland, but it fed a line of thinking that led to Swalo.

Direct contact

The client's point of contact is the person who carries out or leads the work. From the very first meeting, you deal with the person who understands the constraints and will work on the project.

Co-optation

We recruit solely by co-optation. Each person is recommended by the team and approved collectively. This rule slows our growth, but it guarantees that every new person fits what we look for, both in skills and as a person.

Redistribution

80% of net revenue goes to the person who generates it. 20% funds the structure, the tools and development.

This ratio is a deliberate choice. It fosters lasting involvement in the success of our clients' projects.

Personal reserve

Each member builds a reserve from their own activity. It cushions periods without an engagement. Its balance is visible at all times, letting everyone anticipate their situation. On departure, it is paid out in full.

Collective commitment

Even when an engagement is entrusted to a single person, it commits the whole team. If something unexpected happens, we limit the impact and find a solution with the client. If needed, we draw on our network.

We live and work in Switzerland. We know our clients' context and come on site whenever it helps.
